How to Disable Cortana using Group Policy

However, the drawback is that Local Group Policy Editor is only available in Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise.

  1. Open Windows search box and type in Group Policy. Instead, you could also use Windows key + R and type gpedit.msc. if that is easier for you.

  2. Check the left pane of Local Group Policy Editor, go to Computer Configuration> Administrative Templates>Windows Components>finally Search.
